#CRE next to be seriously challenged. I have been saying this for a while. #CRE loans are much SHORTER term so must be refinanced at much HIGHER rates! Mix that with much LOWER CF from HIGHER vacancies esp office! Defaults anyone?!

This is precisely the point: Nominal income growth (income driven) is maintaining elevated nominal spending which is further maintaining elevated inflation in 5% range! Recession may be needed to curb this spending by reversing the income growth maintaining it.
Patterns exist with Earnings & all Economic Data: Revise LOWER & then BEAT. Lower expectations to make things “look better” but they are decelerating Y/Y. Consistent downward pattern. Don’t fall for the headlines of “beats”
