I reiterate. Covered calls can be very forgiving and have greater chance of expiring worthless during Bear market. ie $SMCI $ENPH In bear, during green days or when stock runs UP, I consider selling CC on portion of some longs. Of course depends but idea.
Why do some people “fall in love” with their stocks? It’s an Illogical relationship with what you own. It’s called ‘Endowment Effect’ or ‘Mere Ownership Effect’ People tend to value more the things they own. Loss aversion. Don’t fall trap. Awareness of phenomenon is key.
